AAR continues to monitor COVID-19 and its impacts, specifically observing cases on Prince Edward Island. The residency has put the following protocols in place to ensure the safety of our visiting artists and local community.
Please note that the Province of PEI requires all those travelling to the island to be fully vaccinated, and self-isolate for four days upon arrival. We anticipate that these restrictions will change, but 2022 residents should plan to isolate in the residency home for those 4 days. AAR representatives will be present at that time to assist with this short isolation period.
We have the following measures in place if you do become sick while attending Annandale Artist Residency. If a resident tests positive, they will be able to safely isolate in another home on the property and an AAR representative will act as support for any food and necessities they may need. We feel confident that we are able to provide a safe and isolated space for any residents that may fall ill. AAR will also supply rapid-result tests for those who have symptoms. A hospital is within driving distance should medical attention be needed.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this protocols.
