DEPARTURE CHECKLIST

We ask that residents plan to depart from AAR by 12:00 noon on the last day indicated to allow us to flip over the space.

We’ve created the following departure checklist to aid us in changing over the space. We greatly appreciate your efforts in ticking the below boxes!

Prior to their departure, we ask that residents:

• Strip beds of all linens, and place sheets in a laundry basket in the laundry room;

• Place wool blankets on the clothes line outside to be aired out (weather depending);

• Remove all food from kitchen using your best judgement (the next residents might not want 4 remaining ketchup bottles);

• Lightly clean all common areas, bedrooms, and studios;

• Remove all garbage bags from studios, rooms, and bathrooms;

• Place all garbage and compost in bins in the backyard of the residency;

• Amalgamate all recycling and drop off recycling at the local recycling centre listed below (recycling collection in PEI happens only, every third week, so we appreciate your consideration of this step as to not let the recycling accumulate):

  Recycling Centre: Dingwells Mills, Eastern

  100 Selkirk Road, Rte #309

  Mon/Wed/Fri: 8am-4:30pm

  Sat: 8am-12:30pm

  Saturdays are free recycling drop off. All other days there is a small fee.

• Please run the van through a car wash: there are two local options Rubber Duck Car Wash (website) or the Petro-Can Gas Station (across the street from Rubber Duck Car Wash);

• Importantly, leave all keys on the kitchen table, as well as donated artworks clearly labelled. Don’t forget to sign and leave artwork details (medium, size, year).
