In Montague, on the way to the grocery stores, there are a few empty lots where you can find people selling fish and seasonal produce from the back of trucks. This is a great place to get fresh fish!
On Saturday mornings in Cardigan, there is a charming farmers market. Here you can buy lots of fresh produce and cut flowers and baked goods. There is also a small café at the market with delicious food and soup.
There is also a very popular farmer’s market in Charlottetown every Saturday morning that is definitely worth a visit. There is delicious cheese, great bread, lots of produce, craft beer and a great coffee roaster as well as the occasional live music performance.
